It's Christmas Time!!

It is a tradition in our home to get our tree the day after Thanksgiving. This year we had to borrow my Dad's truck and Ella's seat won't fit in the back... so she has to ride in the front. I'm not thrilled with that, and Ella even told Grandma that, "momma gets nervous." Anyway, she LOVES riding in the front.

Another tradition is Hozak Farms, we have been going there for years. They have fabulous customer service, and will shake, bind and load your tree for you. You also get free hot chocolate with the purchase of a tree!


We also like to peruse the Christmas barn shop, it's almost like stepping back in time, I love the nostalgic feeling.

Ella's job is cutting the tree.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow, what a gorgeous day!! We had dinner at Rose and Harold's farm and I shot a few images outside before we ate.

My gorgeous husband and wonderful daughter. For those of you who haven't seen Craig lately, he looks AMAZING. He's very thin and fit and also has a new hairstyle (finally).

Happy Birthday Grandma!!

Grandma was VERY excited when she opened her new iPod Nano. We even had it engraved... it read, "can you hear me now?". In case you don't know, my Mom has a bit of a hearing problem.

We lost her the rest of the night... she floated around singing country music.

Happy Halloween!

After months of contemplating which princess she should be, Ella finally choose Ariel. And I, in all of my infinite wisdom, thought it would be a good idea to spray her hair red. She looked great before we went outside, but of course it was raining, so by the time we returned she was dripping red EVERYWHERE.

The Greatest Show on Earth!

We took Ella to the circus last night and had a great time.


She loved the elephants.
I'm not one of those crazy animal rights activists, but I kinda felt bad for the animals as they performed. I wonder if they are enjoying themselves?


The dude with the tigers was INSANE. I was perched with my hands near Ella's face in case I needed to cover her eyes when the tigers attacked him. Luckily that didn't happen.

Summer's Last Stand

We had been telling Ella that we would go to Kenneywood ever since we got back from our Disney vacation... that was late March! Well we finally managed to get there on a late summer afternoon. Gymnastics

We enrolled Ella in gymnastics this fall, we were surprised at how well she did the first day... we thought she would be shy, but she joined right in!! We are so proud of our sweet angel.

Fieldtrip!!!

Ella and her friends went on a fieldtrip with daycare. First they went to visit the ice cream store where they learned how to ice cream was made... looks tasty!!







Then they went to a nearby park for a picnic lunch and playtime... she's growing up too fast.
