Delightful Details
I have the privilege of attending so many beautiful weddings, and I have always loved the details. When I started planning the room for Craig's party, I knew I wanted it to be very special.
My wonderfully creative friend Joanne helped with choosing the linens and decorating the room, and I cannot thank her enough!
We set everything up the night before and I took these photographs to see how everything looked just by candle light.
It was even prettier the next day.
My friend Kathy helped me with the flowers, her and I re-connected this past year as we both volunteer for the PTA... she was the florist for our wedding 10 years ago!
I described my vision and she executed perfectly. I love hydrangea's and they were not only in the centerpieces, but also used in the sashes on the chairs.
This was the bar, although I neglected to get a picture of it with all of the drinks. A frozen/slush rum punch was served along with wine and beer.
On the bar I had this sign:
The cake, oh my gosh, the cake! Everyone was crazy about the cake, and rightfully so, Carol did an amazing job. I gave her the invitation, we discussed a few ideas, and I couldn't be happier with the results. She was also the baker for our wedding cake.
The bottom layer was chocolate, the top was white, and both were filled with a cherry nut filling and had an almond cream icing (we re-created the flavors from our wedding cake). Delicious!
All of the linens were rented from Mosiac, click here to view their fabulous website.

Awwww....chocolate cake with cherry nut filling! Great minds think alike! I'm going to try and have one recreated out here in Vegas for our anniversary here in May! I have an extra special treat in mind too for Dave's birthday cake! You are so sweet to your hubby. Looks like you had a great time and spoiled him well!
Beautiful!!!!
WOW!!! How amazing! What an event you put together...I can't wait to see what Ella's wedding is going to be like. :)

You really need to expand from just photography to events in their entirety. I love all the little details. And I loooove that cake, but I love Carol's (thanks to you). :)
